USIJ Sends a Letter in Support of TROL Act

Today, USIJ sent a letter to Representatives Lee Terry and Jan Schakowsky, in support of their bill, the Targeting Rogue and Opaque Letters (TROL) Act. It is a well-balanced piece of legislation that will be able to effectively target those who abuse the system, while protecting the rights of patent holders. It does this by providing guidance to the Federal Trade Commission and clarifying the definition of abusive patent demand letters.
